SKIPPERS COURSES SUSPENDED Please see NEWS, Corona Virus Update 17.3.2020

The SAMSA (South African Maritime Safety Authority) authorised “skipper’s ticket” course, now known as the Certificate of Competence, is conducted by Leisure Marine and successful candidates are awarded the Certificate. Details of how to qualify and what are the benefits for you, your crew, and perhaps your pocket can be found in the Services section of this website. In short, the regulations mean that ANY ONE, in charge of ANY BOAT, on ANY INLAND OR OFFSHORE WATER, is legally required to conform to these regulations.

January 2020 THEORY. Tuesday 21st 6.00pm      EXAM. Saturday 25th 8.30-10:00am

February 2020 THEORY. Tuesday 18th 6.00pm    EXAM. Saturday 22nd 8.30-10:00am

March 2020 THEORY. Tuesday 24th 6.00pm         EXAM. Saturday 28th 8.30-10:00am

April 2020 THEORY. Wednesday 15th 6.00pm       EXAM. Saturday 18th 8.30-10:00am

May 2020 No Skippers course in May

June 2020 THEORY. Wednesday 24th 6.00pm       EXAM. Saturday 27th 9.00-10:30am

July 2020 THEORY. Tuesday 21st 6.00pm              EXAM. Saturday 25th 9.00-10:30am

August 2020 THEORY. Tuesday 25th 6.00pm         EXAM. Saturday 29th 9.00-10:30am

September 2020 THEORY. Tuesday 15th 6.00pm   EXAM. Saturday 19th 8.30-10:00am

October 2020 THEORY. Tuesday 20th 6.00pm        EXAM. Saturday 24th 8.30-10:00am
